Pig Man with Rabbit (Cat) Woman
|
The Pig man is ruled by his emotions and imagination; he is gay, easygoing, and hedonistic--minded. At the other pole is the Cat woman who functions more with her head than her heart and who is a perfectionist, a puritan, an inhibited person. These basic differences are of course bound to cause problems of mutual adjustment when the two team up. But both are motivated enough to view them as challenges, not as unsurmountable obstacles. It is why they are most likely to achieve viable harmony.
The Cat woman will have many reasons to feel annoyed with the Pig. Looking for a strong man on whom to lean, she will only find a "big baby" who seems to be always in quest of a mother and whose emotional intensity and sensitivity baffle her. When frustrated in his desires, the Pig man will assume a martyr comportment or sulk for days - an attitude she will find intolerable. But the Pig himself can also have grievances. He will consider his woman sternfaced, emotionally superficial, and materialistic - she will appear to him as a threat to his childlike innocence. In these conditions nothing but sheer good will can bridge the gap between the protagonists - but sheer good will they do have!
The permanent positive aspects of their relationship will be their deep love of home life, her economical virtue, and his incredible chance in money matters. All told, haven't they more than enough elements to build their happiness together?
Some trouble must be expected on the sexual front as he is sensual and romantic while she is clearly cold and unfeeling, at least in the very beginning. But this situation is likely to improve with time.
A highly recommendable union.
