Rat Man with Dragon Woman

Usually aloof and cool-headed when it comes to affairs of the heart, the Dragon woman may show impulsivity and let herself be swept off her feet by the charming Rat who, in return, has great admiration for her outstanding qualities. Their mutual love is expected to be remarkably intense from the very start.
To the casual observer, this relationship presents all the appearances of happiness; nothing seems to stand in the partners' way to mutual understanding. However, it would be unrealistic to look forward to this idyllic situation lasting forever. After a more or less extended honeymoon period, both parties will in all likelihood end up at loggerheads with each other — although their dissension will rarely be serious enough to make for a breakup. The Dragon woman's constant demand for admiration and compliments will tire the Rat in the end while he, on his side, will antagonize her by showing to much jealousy and possessiveness. His opportunistic tendencies and penny-pinching mania will set the stage for many violent quarrels. Only tolerance can soften the edge of their differences. And as they share a love of the outdoors, this should be effectively used as one of possible antidotes to their strife.
Their bedroom will be still another area of conflict. The Rat needs mental stimulation, fantasy and a whole range of romantic emotions whereas the Dragon woman is scornful about all such devices as her desires can easily be aroused.
In general, the survival of this union is conditional upon the partners' thoughtfulness, mutual concessions and good sense of humor. Fortunately, they seem to have enough good will to give themselves a fair chance.
