Question # 11 : Clairvoyance and chinese astrology
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
Question — I am a clairvoyant and cannot "see" for myself whereas I have no difficulty "seeing" for others. This is perhaps a Tiger trait or something? (Lorri L., Australia).
Answer — First of all, a Chinese astrologer is not a clairvoyant. Clairvoyance is supposedly an inborn gift, whereas anyone can learn and practice Chinese astrology as he can psychology or medical science. Of course, Chinese astrology is not incompatible with paranormal faculty.
If you cannot see for yourself while being able to see for others, this is perfectly normal and can in no way be taken for a specific Tiger trait. No physician is a good doctor for his own family, and no teacher is appreciated by his own children. "However sharp a knife may be, it cannot cut its own handle", says a Vietnamese proverb. It's why we all need counselors and confidants.
However, what may be a Tiger trait is your frank recognition of your difficulty: Tigers don't indulge in escapism, they squarely face their problems.
All the best!
