Question — Why are your signs inconsistent with all other Chinese astrology sites? Are you wrong or are they? (Ashley M., Australia).
Answer — There may be differences between the description of the signs in my site and that in other sites, but certainly not in ALL other sites. Indeed, those sites which adhere to traditional Chinese astrology could not be contrary to the basic characteristics of each sign. For instance, any such site would recognize cleverness in the Rat sign, patience in the Buffalo sign, fiery comportment in the Dragon sign, tolerance in the Monkey sign, and so on.
Now, Chinese astrology only gives basic characteristics and general hints. It's up to each individual astrologer to interpret them according to his own sensitivity and experience. For a similar reason, two physicians may have graduated from the same medical school, but one may treat better or differently than the other.
It's not up to me, but to users, to say if I'm wrong or other Chinese astrologers are right. What do you think, then, about my interpretation?
