Question # 08 : Is Jesus compatible with Chinese Astrology?

Question — Thank you so much for your invitation to visit your website. But since Jesus said :"I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by me." in John 14:6 of the Holy Bible, why should I need another way ? (Art Paul S., USA).
Answer — I fully respect your faith in Jesus Christ. However, we should not mix up things. Jesus shows you the Way to the Father, that is, to Heaven, to eternal Life, while Chinese astrology aims at helping us know ourselves and others better and therefore live better in this world. Chinese astrology ranks among such earthly, human sciences as psychology, sociology, philosophy. Are all these sciences useless and to be discarded donwright just because of the Bible? Moreover, these sciences are only proposed to people who may find interest in them; they do not threaten anyone with hellfire and brimstone if he/she does not study them.
