A positive attitude
If you ever happen to win a small sum at the lotto, if someone offers you an odd job, or if someone gives you a little extra, for example, don't say: "That's all there is?" Say instead: "It's already that!" For whoever isn't satisfied with little will never be satisfied with anything. Moreover, knowing how to appreciate small joys is the surest way to attract even greater joys.
Firmly believe that you'll succeed in solving your problems in a way or another. Consider them not as a disaster but as a challenge that life hurls at you; take up this challenge with all the aggressiveness that you're capable of. Also, persuade yourself that everyone has his chance in life and that "nobody has better chance than he who believes in his own chance" (German proverb). Never believe yourself to be a victim of fate or an unsold item of destiny.
