How to solve your
money problems
|
No buying on credit!
One of the traps of the consumer society is that one can buy so many things on credit — and the credit is sometimes even free. Therefore the temptation to let go one's money is tremendous. Nevertheless, one thing is clear: when you buy something on credit, you contract debts. And these debts have to be paid! And so you could possess a powerful car, a top hi-fi set, a leather sofa, etc., and at the same time be reduced to eating nothing better than sandwiches or canned food, and to having nothing else than worries and headaches! It's quite true that "debts shorten life" (Joubert).
