Chinese astrology
One of the pillars of Chinese astrology is the Chinese calendar. This calendar, as we've seen, is centered on the Sun as much as on the Moon.
In Chinese astrology, the Sun and the Moon belong both to the closed circle of stars called "primary". They thus play an essential role, their influences being considered of capital importance. The one never goes without the other one.
If the Sun serves for positioning certain stars on the Astral Chart - the Chinese astrological chessboard - the Moon serves for positioning other stars.
The Sun and the Moon are themselves always positioned, one in relation to the other, at equidistance of the Ox-Goat axis on the Astral Chart.
The interpretation of the Chinese Astral Chart has to be made according to the influences of the Sun and the Moon before those of the hundred nine other stars.
