The Moon and woman
Woman is Yin, just like the Moon. There exists an almost mechanical correlation between lunar revolutions and feminine physiology. In fact, the Chinese use the same ideogram to indicate the lunar cycle and the menstrual cycle. The full Moon generally corresponds to the day of optimal feminine fertility, that is, the fifteenth day after the onset of the last menses. And the next menses will normally fall on the last day of the descending Moon. A new lunar cycle begins, so does a new menstrual cycle. The latter cycle can be subject to disturbances due to the intervention of other factors, among these one must take the aggressions of modern life into account.
